His Faithfulness!

Twelve years ago my life was falling apart. I was going through a divorce with the man I had given my heart and soul to and the father of my three beautiful children. I was heartbroken, crushed and felt like I was suffocating. Many times and for many, many days I would just walk around repeating "I am alive, I will survive". I did not see how I could ever trust or give my heart away again, but God saw my pain and my broken heart and He healed me. I looked to God to help me during this time and He was always faithful and always there!

A year went by and I found myself asking God for a husband, but not just any man. I specifically said, "God I want a man that I will be attracted to you inside of him, and I want him to be attracted to you inside of me"! After praying and making my requests known to God, I started thanking Him for my husband and everyday I continued to thank Him. A few months went by and one Sunday morning in December of 1997 I was sitting in church and felt like I was suppose to give my wedding rings away (I had not been wearing them but for some reason that day I did). I put my rings into an envelope and the only thing I wrote on the envelope was this is a faith seed, and then I dropped it in the offering. Those wedding rings symbolized a marriage relationship and I was planting a seed for the marriage that God had for me. On the last day of December 1997 I was at church for a New Years Eve party and I was introduced to Travis Bell... Now we have been happily married 10 years. Happy Anniversary, Honey!
Psalm 40:16 Let all those that seek and require You rejoice and be glad in You. Let such as love Your salvation say continually The Lord be magnified!

The little man~2 weeks old now

Better Brains for Babies

The Science of Early Brain Development
Recent advances in medical science have revealed that much of the brain’s development actually takes place after birth. When a child is born, the cells (or neurons) that make up the brain are in place, but most of the connections that allow those neurons to communicate with each other have not been made. Most of the pathways, or connections, are developed and refined to form the brain’s wiring during the early years of life. Children who have positive, enriching experiences during early childhood can more readily develop the wiring they will need for language, problem solving, forming relationships, and many other abilities that are fundamental in later life.

Jessica is healthy!

Jessica had been fighting sickness since August 28th and had not gotten better. She had been to the Dr. twice and then I took her for the 3rd time last week. She started swelling and it continued so I ended up taking her to Scottish Rite. She is now much better, and at this point she has lost most of the swelling (it was 17 lbs. within 6 days that she gained but she has lost 10 lbs.) Nutrition has been the biggest factor in all of this. So, Jessica is back in school today, finally! Please keep her in your prayers as she continues to regain her strength.

This is all the family plus Nathan (Janeesha's boyfriend) and in the back, middle, is Arron (Allison's boyfriend). We all had a wonderful time at Free Chapel and we were impressed. They have a restaraunt and coffee shop there.

We loaded up family and a couple of friends and visited Free Chapel in Gainesville. They had a live recording of the worship service with Ricardo Sanchez and Isreal Houghton. It was wonderful!!! If you don't own a Ricardo Sanchez cd you should get one asap.

Jaden Joel Bell has arrived!

Our first grandchild, Jaden Joel Bell, was born on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd at 9:30 pm. He was born at the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Ft. Cambell where Joel and Ana live. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. Ana was amazing and gave birth 100% natural (no painkillers, no epidural). Joel was a great coach and has not left Ana's side since Jaden was born. We are so proud of Joel and Ana and our new grandson, Jaden. Jaden has Ana's features (face, nose, mouth) and thank God he seems to have her temperament also. LOL. He is so quiet and calm. He is precious!!!
